CPM for Stripe Adds Sales Order Support

and Other Capabilities

The latest version of CPM for Stripe introduces significant functionality improvements that make the extension a viable solution for a broader range of organizations than ever before.

Of all the new features in this latest release, arguably none are more significant than the expansion of the payment functionality to include sales orders. Previous versions of CPM for Stripe allowed users to record payments against historical documents such as posted sales invoices, but it is now possible to perform this activity with active sales orders. This new capability brings with it a much deeper feature set, including:

  • Immediate payment capture
  • Payment authorization with delayed payment capture
  • Payment authorization thresholds
  • Automatic reauthorization on partial payment capture

In addition to the changes introduced with sales order support, considerable enhancements have been made to the management of customer payment methods. When recording payments in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, it is now possible to select from a list of all customer payment methods retrieved from Stripe. In addition, new payment methods can be entered in Dynamics 365 Business Central and saved to that customer for future use.

A final highlight reflects Suite Engine’s commitment to support different payment sources, as support has been added for ACH payments.
