Tom from Suite Engine introduces the Planned Maintenance functionality in the RPM unit, which allows users to schedule and manage recurring maintenance tasks for equipment.

- From the unit card, users can select the Planned Maintenance option to view or set up maintenance tasks.
- Maintenance Types
- The example shows three types of planned maintenance for a unit:
- Hydraulic Flush
- Lower Crane Service
- Oil Change

- Identified with a work code “Hydraulic.”
- Scheduled every 6 months or 500 hours.
- Includes:
- Default service type: PM (Preventive Maintenance)
- Unit of measure: Hours
- Parts: 1 gallon of hydraulic fluid
- Labor: 2 hours with a work type code (e.g., internal, overtime)
- Scheduling
- Based on start date and base reading, the system auto-generates the maintenance schedule.
- Completed maintenance is linked to the corresponding work order for easy access.
- Other Maintenance Examples
- Lower Crane Service: Scheduled every 6 months (time-based only).
- Oil Change: Scheduled every 3 months or 500 hours.
